how it works

​

The therapeutic relationship is a central aspect of psychological support. The aim is to create a comfortable space where it is easier to rethink oneself and risk acting in new ways. The first session allows us to evaluate if we feel an affinity, opening the possibility of building, in subsequent sessions, a path of complicity around what is important to you.

 

The sessions include conversation and action strategies, through which I can invite you to carry out experiments, inside or outside the session. I may ask you to keep records, so that together we can understand how you function (how you think and feel); or to write about memories, or about present situations, and thus explore and reorganize dimensions of your functioning; or to carry out action experiments in specific contexts.

 

In the initial phase, I recommend weekly meetings to facilitate the consolidation of the relationship, the clarification of goals for the work we will develop together, and the initiation of small changes. Depending on your availability, and the urgency and complexity of the issues, the frequency of sessions can then be reduced.
